Creek Cruiser | Original Freshwater Turtle Painting

Creek Cruiser

Part of the Twilight Natives series — four original paintings of Australian native animals, all of which can be found living around Albury, NSW.

Meet Creek Cruiser, the most relaxed paddler in the creek. Australian freshwater turtles have a clever trick — instead of pulling their heads straight back into their shells, they tuck them in sideways. Creek Cruiser spends the day drifting through the shallows, snacking on whatever floats past and grinning at everyone he meets.

A mossy green shell outlined in raised detail, surrounded by waterweed, starburst flowers and floating dots in blue, teal and lilac.

One-of-a-kind, textured original painting, 30 × 30 cm, professionally framed to 33.6 × 33.6 cm. Free shipping within Australia. Available to Australian buyers only.
