Hotpants & Record Bars – 1970s Retro Canvas Art Print
Step back into 1971 and wander the streets of Albury, New South Wales, where music drifted from record stores and fashion was bold, colourful and carefree.
Hotpants & Record Bars is inspired by Kerrie’s mother during her time working at Mid-States Radio, a record bar in the Pivot Arcade on Dean Street. It captures a moment in Australian history when vinyl filled the shelves, hot pants were the height of fashion, and weekends revolved around music, friendships and the latest releases.
Both a personal tribute and a snapshot of a bygone era, this nostalgic retro art is a wonderful gift for music lovers, vinyl collectors and anyone who remembers the 70s fondly.
Gallery-Quality Reproduction
Each original painting is professionally photographed by Jason Robins and captured as a high-resolution TIFF file — the uncompressed, archival-quality format preferred by galleries and fine art printers. This preserves the true colour, texture and fine detail of the original artwork, so every print is a faithful, gallery-quality reproduction. Each print is then made to order by Fantastic Framing, carefully packaged and delivered directly to your door.
Giclée Canvas 360gsm
Our archival bright white matte Canvas (360gsm) is designed to deliver exceptional fine art and photographic reproductions. With a wide colour gamut and bright white point, it ensures brilliant, accurate, and consistent image quality every time.
This matte, bright white poly-cotton canvas features a medium texture that’s both tear and water-resistant, maintaining a wrinkle and crease-free finish across all applications. Its durability and print performance make it ideal for museum-quality gallery wraps, framed displays, and artistic giclée prints.
Edge & Sizing Details
To ensure seamless gallery wrapping or framing, all canvas prints include mirrored edges.
An extra 5 cm is added to each side (total of 10 cm to both width and height) to accommodate the wrap.
Please note that the sizes listed in the options refer to the image size only — the additional mirrored edge will be added automatically during production.
Applications: Fine art and photography reproductions, exhibition and museum gallery wraps or frame displays, artistic giclée prints, home décor art.
Fine art prints are produced on both museum-grade paper and premium canvas, with framing options available for both.
Paper Prints (310gsm Fine Art Paper)
